Love the atmosphere and customer service but most of all the food! You have a choice of eating in or dining g out. And while you wait they have the cutest boutique store next door the pink flamingo . Our waiter Cody was fantastic... p.s if you wanna treat him, he loves their lemon bars!
Can I just say, Sophie and Emma might just be my two favorite people EVER in the whole wide world (except for Jack, because he is pretty cool). First, Sophie had a determined work ethic. She was quick and nimble on her toes! What a gal. Went above and beyond to talk to us and entertain Jack's bits. Second, EMMA. It was her first day being a server, no one could tell because she had so much potential/talent/tenacity. She proved to have a vast knowledge of the restaurant and menu. What a special addition to the team here at Roots Cafe, I hope they value and treasure her because she's such a little sweetheart. Closing statement, perchance? Best of luck Emma, not that you need it.
Super awesome brunch spot! High quality ingredients. They do a ton of vegetarian and vegan stuff, which isn’t my thing. All the other stuff is great though! I got the biscuits and gravy with sausage. The biscuits were very herby and unique and the gravy was also unique with the pepper and how creamy it was. The eggs were perfectly scrambled and the potatoes are awesome!! We also got a veggie breakfast sandwich which is super tasty!
Food is DELICIOUS. Customer service is spot on, and the wait is worth it! We got to see Post Malone (aka Cody Himself) and it was just so fun too. Their baked goods are up front and so delicious and gluten free. Don't leave without one!!!
Lovely spot! The huevos rancheros weren’t quite what I expected, but they were absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Perfect patio for brunch.
The food blew us away!! We had an espresso & chai tea, the pancake of the day (strawberry orange) with real maple syrup, tuna melt with navy bean ham soup and it was ALL fantastic!!! We sat on the cozy patio, our server was attentive and got everything spot on. I can’t get over how delicious the pancake - I was sad when I got down to the last bite! Wishing I’d been coming here all summer. Favorite new spot 4SURE!!!
The Roots biscuits and poblano gravy coupled with their spicy sausage was incredible. Cody was our waiter and he felt very personable and provided good service. The outdoor seating is where it's at. If you want a fun, different, and good breakfast spot, this is the place!
Came for breakfast. There was no wait to be seated. Had the Roots of Your Day with sausage, scrambled eggs, and a pancake and added a side of bacon. They give large portions of everything. Everything I had was excellent. The package overflows the plate but is light and fluffy. The sausage is made on site and has a flavourful blend of spices. My wife had the eggs benedict and said it's the best she's ever had.
